Total Time 15 minutesminutes
Ingredients
2slices sourdough bread
2 tbspcranberry sauce/relish
1servingleftover turkey
brie cheese
2tbsp mayonnaise
2 tbsp butter
Instructions
Build your sandwich by spreading the cranberry sauce on one piece of bread, then adding the turkey, and the brie on top (as much/little as you want). Place the second piece of bread over top to complete the sandwich
Next, take the mayonnaise and spread it on the outside of each piece of bread (yes, the outside. trust me). This is the secret to getting a golden brown crust. If you don't like mayonnaise, have no fear, you won't even taste it!
Then in a skillet or on a griddle, melt the butter over medium heat. Once the butter is melted, add the sandwhich to heat on one side. Check after 3-4 minutes and once golden brown, flip the sandwich. Do the same on the other side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
There you have it, the easiest way to reduce waste and utilize allll those thanksgiving leftovers. Enjoy!
